[vimeo]http://vimeo.com/70251489[/vimeo]I recently backed a great Kickstarter project, Birth of Sake. Via the Cebu Osani Blog:

The Birth of Saké is a documentary film about the workers and production seasons at Tedorigawa, a fifth-generation, family-owned sake brewery in Ishikawa, Japan. Tedorigawa has been producing some of the world’s top award winning sakés since 1870, and still relies on time-honored techniques to hand craft sake in a traditional way.

The sake featured happens to be my favorite brand in Kanazawa. I typically buy it by the case. You can find more information about the Birth of Sake project on Cebu Osani's Kickstarter page.[ad]Additionally, check out the great shorts Eye What You Eat series that creates a vivid imaginary world to showcase popular culinary techniques. The films were created by Cebu Osani, a company founded in 2008 by Erik Shirai, the NYC based Director and Cinematographer. Erik's clients include Subway, Related, Walmart, Travel, Discovery and much more. Check out the Cebu Osani blog here. Follow Cebu Osani's Erik Shirai on Twitter via @iamwhatieatTVBTW, the Deep Fry video gives you a whole new appreciation for chicken karaage.
